Swimmy

Swimmy

By Leo Lionni

Imagine if all of your friends and family were gone in an instant! In Swimmy by Leo Lionni a tuna fish swoops in and gobbles up all the tiny red fish except for Swimmy. Swimmy is all alone. He bravely goes out into the ocean all by himself and meets a lot of different creatures. He even meets another group of tiny red fish but they are too scared too leave and explore with him. Then Swimmy got an idea! What will Swimmy do?

I recommend this book because it is an interesting story and has beautiful illustrations. There are lots of cool creatures in this book. I think this book would be great for younger kids.

I give this book at 10 out of 10.

It helped us to write our Dragon and Snake story! Getting an idea is REALLY important when you have a problem. It takes time and being calm to think of an idea, but once you have one, the battle is half over!

Nice review. I love Leo Lionni........It was fun to read his books with you in library.

Are our book reviews helpful to you?
